Join the Leaders Board
The Leaders Board is open to Community Engagement Scholars who want to take a more active role in shaping the program and supporting fellow students. Board members:
Are enrolled in the Community Engagement Scholars Program
Attend regular meetings during the academic year
Collaborate with CCEL staff and fellow board members
Help plan and lead CESP events and initiatives

Governance & Structure
The CESP Leaders Board operates in accordance with University of Minnesota policies and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. The Board works in partnership with the Center for Community-Engaged Learning and the CESP Advisory Board to support the mission and goals of the program.
The Board functions as a nonprofit, student-led organization focused on community engagement, ethical service, and shared learning.
Roles include:
President, Vice President, Treasurer, Marketing & Communications Chair, Membership & Recruitment Chair, Events Coordinator, and general board members.
