Jessica Proskin

Assistant Director of Student Programs and Advising

Jessica joined the CCEL staff in July of 2019. She is the Assistant Director of Student Programs and Advising. Jessica attended Normandale Community College before transferring to the the University of Minnesota where she received a BA degree in Sociology and a Minor in Political Science. Jessica was actively involved in community service as a student and completed both an AmeriCorps program and the Community Engagement Scholars Program. After graduating from the U of M she went to the University of St. Thomas where she received her Masters degree in Higher Education. After her master program Jessica worked in the Center for Community Outreach at the University of Kentucky for four years. At UK Jessica was able to help students become involved in the community as well as educate people on social justice topics through meaningful reflections. In her free time Jessica likes to read, hike, camp, play with her dog, volunteer, and travel.
