David has been with CCEL since 2005, and is the Assistant Director for Domestic Off-Campus Study Programs. He received his B.A. from Augustana University in 2002 and is currently working on a M.A. in Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development. As an undergrad, David spent a semester studying in South Africa and supplemented coursework with volunteer activities in a local township. It was this community-based learning that changed his outlook on life, education and careers. From that point on, he became passionate about experiential education, both abroad and in the U.S. He stays active in the local Twin Cities community by volunteering with the annual LoLa Art Crawl and several other neighborhood initiatives.
